HARVEY FIERSTEIN TO REPLACE TOPOL IN FIDDLER

Harvey Fierstein replaces Topol in the Tony award-winning musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, coming to San Francisco as part of SHN's 2009/2010 Best of Broadway Season. Chaim Topol, regrettably informed the show's producers he would have to leave the production due to a shoulder injury requiring emergency long term treatment.

Mr. Fierstein starred as the iconic milkman, Tevye in the recent critically acclaimed Broadway production. Audiences now have the rare opportunity to see this Tony Award-winning actor embrace one of his favorite roles in this Jerome Robbins inspired production.

Your tickets for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF are in the mail and you should be receiving them shortly.

Your 39 Steps and Fiddler Dates Are Assigned!

Your subscription performance dates have been assigned for THE 39 STEPS and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF! We are in the process of mailing your tickets and you should be receiving them in the next 10 days.

In the meantime, you can view your performance dates NOW by logging on to your MY SHN ACCOUNT or give us a call at 415-551-2050, Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.

There is important information enclosed with your tickets, so be sure to read the mailer when your tickets arrive. Also, take special note of your performance date for THE 39 STEPS. Due to the holidays, you may be attending a performance day and time other than your usual one.

Can't attend a show? Sell your subscription tickets through ArtsExchange!

Follow these easy steps:
  • Log on to MY SHN ACCOUNT
  • Choose the show you're looking to sell tickets to
  • Check the seat numbers and click SELL
  • Once you've clicked on SELL you'll find answers to questions you may have under ONLINE HELP
  • Choose a posting price and an expiration date for the posting
Your subscription tickets will now be available for other theatre goers to purchase.

EXCHANGE TICKETS BY EMAIL!

ALL NEW FEATURE FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY


You can now exchange tickets by email through 'MY SHN Account' up to 24 hours prior to performance.

To exchange by email, follow these simple instructions:

  • Log on to MY SHN ACCOUNT
  • Go to the 'Manage Your Tickets' menu and click on 'E-Mail Your Tickets'
  • Click on the specific show and seat locations you wish to exchange
  • Click on 'Forward'
  • In the 'Enter Delivery Information' enter 'Best of Broadway' in the First Name field and 'Box Office' in the Last Name field
  • In the recipient E-mail Address enter  bobexchange@shnsf.com.
  • Re-type this same address in the next box for verification
  • In the 'Enter Message' box, list up to 3 (three) alternative dates and performance times you wish to exchange the tickets for and any other pertinent information or special requirements such as aisle seating, etc.
There is a $1.95 per ticket fee to exchange by email.


PLEASE NOTE: ONCE YOU FORWARD YOUR TICKETS FOR EXCHANGE, THE TICKETS ARE NO LONGER VALID AND CANNOT BE USED FOR ENTRANCE INTO THE THEATRE. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DESTROY THE HARD TICKETS YOU ARE EXCHANGING SO THEY DO NOT INADVERTENTLY GET USED.

Once your tickets have been exchanged, an email will be sent to the email address listed on your SHN Account. You may then print your tickets using the 'Print At Home' feature on you SHN Account.

A NOTE ABOUT WHEN PERFORMANCE DATES ARE CONFIRMED

SHN prides itself in presenting first run and world premiere plays and musicals. The scheduling flexibility required to host these productions prevents us from announcing performance dates as the beginning of each season. Exact dates are announced between 16 and 20 weeks prior to the engagement and at that time, your tickets will be mailed to you However, subscribers have the exclusive option of exchanging subscription tickets between any performance of each production. Since each production runs a minimum of four weeks, there are over 32 performances available to accommodate your schedule.

Now, SHN Season subscribers can e-mail their tickets to friends, family, clients, or anyone else. Once the recipient receives his or her tickets by e-mail, the recipient can print his or her ticketFast®-generated tickets from any standard printer.
