HOW IT WORKS

 


TICKETS

When you become an SHN Member, the price you pay (based on desired seat location/performance day) guarantees you one ticket to each of the productions that are part of the announced season.

ASSIGNING YOUR SEATS

As a new member, you’re assigned the best available seats after renewing members on a first-come, first-served basis. We spend many weeks working to confirm your seat requests.

You can expect to receive your assigned seat locations and performance dates when you receive your tickets in the mail or via download (depending on what you chose) this summer.

SHOWS ON YOUR SCHEDULE

We offer flexible and straightforward ticket exchanges for members. If your assigned ticket date is inconvenient, you can simply exchange it for a different performance date of the same production. Once per season, we offer SHOW-TO-SHOW EXCHANGE, which allows you to exchange all of your tickets from one production to another production on the season, or for special engagements.

Some productions may not be available for show-to-show exchange. Call or email us to find out more about a specific show.


FIRST ACCESS AND ADDITIONAL TICKETS

As an SHN member, you now have immediate access to purchase tickets before the general public to THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of 9 Tony Awards® including Best Musical. You’ll also be first in line to purchase tickets to the many one-night-only events and special engagements that we bring to San Francisco. Need additional tickets to a season show? We can help! We will notify you via email when additional tickets become available for purchase.

Throughout the season, you’ll receive complimentary invitations to behind-the-scenes events and opportunities to win one-of-a-kind experiences, including:

The price of your 2017–2018 season ticket will always remain the same. When general public single ticket prices increase in 2017–2018, yours won t.

WHICH PRODUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED IN THE 2017–2018 SEASON PACKAGE?

The SHN 2017–2018 Season is comprised of seven shows: SOMETHING ROTTEN!, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, Disney's ALADDIN, THE COLOR PURPLE, SCHOOL OF ROCK, ON YOUR FEET!, and WAITRESS.

In addition, when you become a member, you'll get first access to purchase tickets to THE BOOK OF MORMON. Note that the THE BOOK OF MORMON is a special engagement and not part of the 2017–2018 package.
 
HOW ARE SEAT LOCATIONS ASSIGNED?

Membership seating is seniority-based, and is subject to availability. New Members are assigned the best seats available after renewing Members, based on the date of purchase of their new Membership.
 
WHEN WILL I FIND OUT MY ASSIGNED PERFORMANCE DATES AND SEAT LOCATIONS FOR THE 2017–2018 SEASON?

Members learn their seat and date assignments when they receive their tickets in hand (by Mail or Download). We are unable to guarantee or confirm anything during the seating process, as seat locations and dates may be subject to change before being sent out.
 
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY 2017–2018 SEASON TICKETS?

To ensure Members receive imminent shows as soon as possible, 2017–2018 Season tickets may be broken up into two or more deliveries. We plan to send the first delivery in early summer . We expect the second delivery to follow a few months later.
 
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND MY ASSIGNED PERFORMANCE DATE?

Once you receive your season tickets, if your assigned ticket date is inconvenient for you, you may exchange them for a different performance of the same production. Exchanges are subject to availability.
 
Once per season, Members are also able to Show-to-Show exchange their tickets from one 2017–2018 Season production to another production. (Some shows may not be available for Show to Show Exchange).
 
WHAT IS A SHOW-TO-SHOW EXCHANGE?

Only Members may exchange all of your tickets from one production to another production! Give us a call at 888-766-1799, press 2, to exchange tickets to a different production. There is a limit of one exchange between productions per season. Some productions may not be available for Show-to-Show exchange.
 
DO MEMBERS GET ACCESS TO TICKETS BEFORE THE GENERAL PUBLIC?

As an SHN Member, you get First Access to special engagements and added attractions before the general public! You are also able to purchase tickets to SHN productions currently on sale that are not included in the 2017–2018 Season: THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME (June 27–July 23) .
 
WHEN MAY I BUY ADDITIONAL TICKETS FOR THE SEASON SHOWS?

We expect Members to be able to purchase additional tickets to season shows sometime after their season tickets are delivered. Although we cannot process additional ticket purchases at the time you order your Membership, you will receive access before the general public. We will notify you by email when additional tickets become available for purchase.
 
HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS ONLINE?

Once you have purchased a Season package, be sure to always log in through the MEMBERS LOGIN (a separate site dedicated to Members) to get the most out of important Membership benefits like first access, no per order fees, no per ticket fees on up to 2 tickets per production, and more! Some restrictions may apply. These features are not currently available through the standard Login.
 
CAN FRIENDS OR FAMILY ACCESS MY MEMBERSHIP?

Accounts can only be accessed by the main account-holder and authorized co-users. To authorize friends or family to make ticket purchases and exchanges on your behalf, call us at 888-746-1799, press 2, or email memberships@shnsf.com.
